A large Bauer pan was bought on 27 January 2013. We own several other Bauer products and are more than aware of how to care for the cookware. In March we discovered that the paint on the outside of the pan was peeling, you could actually scratch the paint of with your nail. my wife went to Game where we bought pan, explained the problem to the assistant, and he undertook to replace the pan. On Sunday 07 April we went to Game for the actual exchange. A young lady explained to us that the decision to replace the pan had to be done by Verimark, so off we go to Verimark. A gentleman by the name of Andries assisted us and made it very clear that we are to blame for the paint peeling. At some point, during the conversation he suggested that we are using the wrong kitchen utensils and deliberately scratching the pan. (What a professional man). The following is quoted from the Bauer instructions "Two year guarantee that the coating will not bubble, chip, or peel of under normal usage conditions." This product is of substandard quality, peeling on the outside???
