Having owned Bauer pans for years and exchanging them imagine my surprise when my previous 3, 1 was a gift and 2 belong to me, just inexplicably started peeling on the handles! This is not a cheapy but I don't mind as it has always been an excellent product. Having relocated a year ago I misplaced my slips, I thought I had it but was for a previous purchase in September 2012... Anyway got to the store, th guy behind the counter immediately phoned a 'manager'to assist. She arrived after about 10 minutes and inspected the slip I had produced did not even glance at the pots and said "sorry you have the wrong slip'. We need the slip in order to qualify for guarantee. I explained could just as well have walked out then. I am very disappointed that I was not assisted in this matter where it is a glaring lack of quality in fabrication... but because I do not have a piece of paper I have NO service. EXTREMELY disappointed. The new big casserole was a gift for my pensioner mother imagine my shame that her pot is also peeling and won't be exchanged paid R499 for that one too. Why is the c ustomer ALWAYS on the losing end and having to cough up???
