I have just bought a microwave for R3000 from the Edenvale Makro. It was the last box on the floor but we noticed the box was opened. We approached the sales lady and asked her whether she was confident that all parts were present. She checked and assured us that all parts were correctly packed and were present. When we got home and took out the packaged parts from inside the microwave we noticed that this is a second hand microwave and even had food bits stuck in the small grooves on the microwave door. This is not an "accidental" mix up. Someone repackaged a used microwave and purposefully put it back on the floor for resale as new. I find this behaviour despicable and will be testing my consumer protection rights.
