Much the same experience as previous complaint against Game. "Big Birthday Deals" advertises a Verbatim 2TB Hard Drive - was R1399 and now R799. The Glen has no stock the day after the advert appears??

As the previous complainant I too believe they never had stock and are falsely adverting to draw customers in and then try sell them something else.
My understanding of the Consumer Protection Act is that Game is obliged by law to carry stock to cover the entire offer period, and if they have no stock then to offer something in writing that states i can have the item at the same price as soon as stock arrives.
Yes, I do realise Game have covered their Ar*e* by stating "We reserve the right to limit quantities" but I do believe this is in contravention of the said act and as such I will be forwarding my complaint to the relevant authority and see what their view is...
