What on earth is going on at this store?

I placed an order for a fridge, and was informed they have stock at the warehouse, and will deliver on tuesday 02/04/2013. Having received no confirmation that the delivery will be done, I phoned and was informed that there is no stock available, and Ray suggested that I come in and choose something else.
The same day I purchased the fridge, Game was running a promotion on certain television sets, and each unit myself, and several other customers were interested in, was also NOT IN STOCK.
What is the point of having promotions, when customers will be turned away when there is no stock available???
I paid for a fridge, but I do not have a fridge. THAT IS!!
I will be going to gateway Game after work, and I will take this further.. Horrendous, DISHONEST, thieving way to treat customers...
