False Delivery Dates, No Stock, Bad Attitude

On 15 October, I bought an LG Fridge for R14, 999 from the new Game Store, Bellairs Drive, Northriding, Johannesburg. I was advised by the sales rep Zibusiso that the fridge will be delivered to my house by the 17th of October. Today is the 20th, they still haven't delivered it. I have spoken (daily) to all three sales reps who work in that section namely Zibusiso, Allen and the other one who never wears his name tag. At first, they would tell me the fridge would be delivered on that same day. I went back to Game this afternoon to check again. None of these reps were willing to talk to me. I eventually managed to talk to them after 30minutes of ducking, only to be told that they have no stock of that same fridge at their Germiston and Pretoria Warehouses and as such, they have no idea when the fridge will be delivered. Ironically, the fridge is still being sold in the shop and is on display, giving the impression that they have stock of it. The sales reps tried to shift blame to LG manufacturers by claiming that it is "LG that has failed to deliver." If LG are not able to deliver, why is Game Store still selling the same fridge to new customers? Beware & be careful with Game Stores.
