Lack of customer service and etiquette

Dec12-Jan13 I purchased at a few cents short of R1000 each x 2 100ft Cartridge Filters as replacements. At that time, I spent a significant amount on chemicals to restore my pool water to the condition I had become accustomed to for over 2 years since installing the cartridge setup. Not long after installing the replacement cartridges, it was evident that my kreepy was extremely sluggish and that within a few minutes the pressure gauge was abnormally high. After a lengthy period of self diagnoses etc, I took my concern up with Lawrence at Swimpool Centre. A technician came to inspect, and he too was dumbstruck as to how a new cartridge seemingly could clog up so quickly (?) This same technician took a cartridge I assume for further evaluation. Some days later Gavin Marshall from Kreepy Krauly came over to inspect. The last I heard in this regard was that the root cause is assumed to be those self same chemicals and liquids supplied by swimpool centre and purchased by myself for the upkeep of my pool whilst several weeks passed without proper filtration of the pool. Kreepy Krauly have replaced x 2 cartridges, yet I was not in any way advised on prevention nor compensated in any way
