I popped into the Game Store in Gateway to buy a cordless phone during the Easter weekend. After choosing the phone, I headed to the paypoint within the electronics department. There are 2 tills there. Since there was a bit of queue on 1 of them I headed to the empty 1 to be rudely told by the lady behind the counter (Balindile I believe) that the till point was down. So I joined the queue for the other till. At this point I noticed that Balindile was just sitting there, making no attempt to fix the issue (whatever it was). When I eventually reached the front of the line, I queried with the gentleman at the till as to why the other till was closed. At this point he asked Balindile, who mentioned it was offline. When I asked her why was it not being fixed as the store was PACKED, she then proceeded to throw a few obcenities at me in her mother tongue (I learnt to curse in many languages over the years). This got me angry so I proceeded to ask for her name at which point she blatantly ignored me, turning the other way. It took me walking across to the front of her to take a look at her name tag to get her name. Shocking service from an internationally owned company.
