I have just been informed that the cash back voucher I earned from Clicks has expired and there is nothing that can be done. I understand that there is a year period allocated to spend the vouchers however there should be reminders sent to customers of all their unredeemed vouchers. the current practise where vouchers are sometimes not received and reminders are not sent to customers for issued and unredeemed customers seems to indicate that the agenda is not to ensure customers use their earned cash back vouchers. Many of us shop so that we earn these vouchers at Clicks and this does not seem to be working to the benefit of the consumer. I have spoken to Zubair and Jameela from the call centre and he can determine the value of my voucher that expired while I was overseas but he can't reissue it. This makes me question the integrity of the processes and controls in place if they are intended for the consumers benefit. I also need clarity as to why a reminder/re-issue of the voucher is not sent to the customer even if it's by electronic means, like many other offerings in the global markets.
I am eagerly awaiting your response.
