I was at the Clicks in Claremont yesterday and wanted to buy a gift card using my R500 in cash back vouchers. But I was told that this isn't possible.
I don't know what the woman was talking about because I've done this many times before. And if this is a new policy, it makes no sense. Buying a gift card means that I'll only be spending the money at Clicks so what difference does it make if the purchase is made with a gift card or with a cash back voucher?
It's hard to spend R250 at a time; if I need something small, I'll end up getting it elsewhere because I can't get change on a cash back voucher.
