I purchased an Inwear jacket on 2 nd May 2013 it has worn extremely badly and the fabric has made a lot of bobbles. I returned it at the Queenstown branch where staff agreed that I had a legitimate complaint but said it had to be sent to head office. Godisa who was extremely helpful and polite advised that head office had declined my complaint and said I must "BUY THAT THING THAT REMOVES THE BOBBLES AND FIX IT MYSELF'. The manager of Truworths waterfront br said that Truworths has a 6 month guarantee on manufacturers defects on products and advised me to look into this. Needless to say I debobbled the fabric this made the jacket look a lot older. I felt it is unreasonable for a R600 jacket to only look good for 2 months of minimal wear Truworths is considered an upmarket store and as such one expects better qaulity on the items of clothing that they sell.. Head office also said they had no other complaints I felt this was irrelevant as they had the jacket in their possession and could see how scruffy it looked after such a short period..Thank you for your assistance in this matter.
