I received a shirt which was bought from Guess in Gateway Umhlanga for my birthday. The shirt was too small for me and was told by the person who gave me the shirt that if it was too small I could exchange it as she was told by the people working at Guess that as long as the label was left on the shirt they would exchange it. I drove all the way there on the weekend to exchange it for a bigger size or purchase something else but was told this was against policy and they could only exchange the item if I had the receipt, even though the bar code and label were still attached to shirt and it had never been worn. Nobody gets given the receipt along with the present. Seems crazy as I was happy to spend more money on getting something else if they did not have my size. I will not be returning to Guess.
