We approached Michele from Diamonds by Appointment to do my wedding bands. As she is a diamond supplier she said we would work with Gary from Benmore Garden Jewelers as well that would then make the bands and she would do the diamonds. We got very bad service from Gary, who said he never knew of the meeting, but did take our business once michele arrived.( After the meeting Gary refused to have us back at his shop for the collection, as he said we are Michelles clients and he doesnt want her clients in his shop.) They took my ring and made wedding bands to match, with 50 diamonds. Once we got the rings we realized there were only 34 diamonds and not 50. Michelle blamed Gary and said he had kept it without her knowing. She said she would get them and then refund us. According to the invoice we should have been refunded R4880.00 for the 16 missing diamonds, yet we were only refunded R595.00 thus saying one diamond cost R37.00. When confronted she simply told us to find a lawyer and that she didnt cheat us. She has failed to send us a breakdown of the refund, even though we have asked her for it twice! Be careful using these people! They are bad mannered and will cheat you!
