Faulty Turbo

I purchased a Garret Turbo for my car, BMW e60 530d..after some 20oookm it developed a noise..the bmw mechanic advised a faulty turbo... when approching the branch I was advised that the supplier wanted said turbo and a sample of the engine oil. Same was handed and the feedback was what seemed like a generic 'dear john" reply saying the turbo had failed. No PROPER reply nor the reprt re the oil was given. The manager at the branch tried to talk to the Headoffice person responsible and was told to refer to the report..The product was obviosuly defective as the car has been maintained properly and proper oils/filters alwasy used and driven by my wife. This is just an apparent ploy to shift blame... not even a farther intervention to compensate financially!?!?!?!?!?
