I took my vehicle to him for a noise in the engine. He said it is cylinder head that is cracked and has to be replaced at a cost of R21 500 . When i collected the vehicle it was not even running nice no power, smoking bad and using oil. he said he will send it to have the oil pump checked which i was charged for already and charged again R2773. I collected the vehicle and it was still not right. he then said the whole engine must be done from top to bottom . i had no choice as i need the vehicle. he quoted R20 581-00. After that was done it was still not in good running condition and he said it is the turbo. I had the turbo tested by turbo exchange and they said there is nothing wrong with the turbo. I gave him this information and then he said my warranty is gone because i had somebody else working on it. Turbo exchange only looked at the turbo and not what he worked on. The cylinder head was tested by a engineering company and found no crack as said by Reg. The injectors was not serviced as the invoice. Basically a lot of things he stated on the invoice was not done and what was done must be wrong. this took one and half years.
