Cashier claims refund on customers account

ON FRIDAY THE 1ST OF MARCH 2013 I WENT TO PICK N PAY AND PAID MY DSTV ACCOUNT. ON MONDAY THE 4TH OF MARCH 2013 MY ACCOUNT WAS SUSPENDED. I THEN CALLED THE CALL CENTRE TO FIND OUT WHAT HAPPENED. I WAS THEN INFORMED THAT ON THE 10TH OF JANUARY 2013, MY HUSBAND WENT TO THEIR OFFICES AND REQUESTED A REFUND. MY HUSBAND AND I WERE BOTH VERY SURPRISED BECAUSE HE HAD NEVER DONE THAT. WE WERE THEN REFERED TO THEIR SERVICE CENTRE IN RANDBURG.

AT THE CENTRE THERE WAS NO FORM OF PROOF TO SUPPORT THIS ALLEGATION. THE ONLY THING THEY HAD WAS A TILL SLIP FROM PICK N PAY AND A SIGNATURE THAT DID NOT EVEN BELONG TO MY HUSBAND. THEY HAD NO ID COPY, COULD NOT EXPLAIN HOW THIS REFUND BYPASSED THE INTERNAL REFUND PROCESSES, COULD NOT EXPLAIN HOW A REFUND COULD BE GRANTED ON AN ACCOUNT THAT DID NOT HAVE A CREDIT.

I CONFRONTED THE THE CASHIER AT PICK N PAY AS SHE HAD CAPTURED THE TRANSACTION INCORRECTLY, AND INSTEAD OF FOLLOWING THE CORRECT PROCEDURES TO RECTIFY THE ERROR SHE THEN WENT TO HER "CONTACT " AT MULTICHOICE AND THEY "CORRECTED" THE ERROR. FORGING MY HUSBANDS SIGNATURE AND WRITING NOTES ON THE SYSTEM THAT HE CAME TO COLLECT THE MONEY. HOW THIS COULD HAVE HAPPENED IS BEYOND ME!
