Injury claim still not processed after 8 months

My Fiance and myself was doing our monthly grocery shopping as we do each month at your store. While we were walking down the aisle and looking at my grocery list, there was a massive pool of stasoft on the floor. I slipped and fell. As I fell I tried to stop my head from hitting your shelve with my hand hurting it bad in the process. I took a part of my knee skin off on the tile and sprained my hand bad. My Fiance was FURIOUS to say the least. Other customers came to our assistance more than the staff. We called for a manager and after 15 minutes someone arrived. The actual manager arrived after another 15 minutes and said we should go to the hospital and they will pay for everything. We spend almost 4 hours at the hospital for scans and paper work and then went back to give him everything. We called a few times and the response was always the same, it was submitted to head office. It is now almost 8 months later and we still did not hear anything and we had to pay all the medical bills. I also cant do my work properly for the last few weeks from my hand and wrist hurting so much I have to wear a splint just to cope. Hopefully someone can help otherwise we will go to the papers
