On the 26th January 2013 I went to Checkers, Eco Park Boulevard to get a few items. I was walking in Aisle 4 and from the angle I went up the aisle, you could not see that there was liquid on the floor. I fell and hurt my hip.
I went to a lady standing at the counter and told her what had happened, she then called the Manager, Steve and explained to him that I had fallen. He did not even come up to me and apologise, he went to the back to call a gentleman that came and took my statement and said that it is better that he report it to their Head Office, unfortunately I did not take a copy of it. Little did I know that is where the buck probably stopped...!
To this day, no-one has even bothered to contact me to apologize for the injury or the negligence On their behalf! this is absolutely totally and utterly appalling service.
I will never put another foot into a Checkers store, this just indicates exactly where the loyalty and how Checkers disregard negligence and ethics towards their customers.
Very dissatisfied customer.
