Edgars stores, convenient/pricy/quality/ELITE pathethic. During Nov12, purchased a shoe from Edgars midrand. Paid R399 (BRADFORD) would be a good combination to fit into my work meetings. 30 DAYS LATER, THE HEEL BROKE after 8 times used. Boardroom meeting with a damaged shoe. Embarrassing. I reported the matter to edgars bouldres. Manager asked why did I not take the shoe to a shoe maker.. Ghastly audacity to even suggest such things for a month old shoe. After some words (world class customer care) sarcasm, I was asked to take another shoe of similar make and to pay in R150.00 - exchange diff. Assisted in the red square with customers around us & not the customer services counter that I originally approached. What has retail stores become??? Exchange date dec12, mid Feb13 & the quality exchange is even worse, heel broke again, practically have to drag through work. Embarrassed at appearance, money spent & the humiliation Edgar's brought, I'm & want my money back. I DO NOT RECOMMEND BRADFORD PURCHASE, THEY ARE MADE IN CHINA, RATHER SPEND R500 ON 10 PAIRS OF SHOES AT A LOCAL FLEA MARKET, TIME MONEY EFFORT & HUMILIATION. PLEASE REFUND MY MONEY & SEND YOUR SHOES TO CHINA
