On Thursday, 21 February 2013, I went shopping for clothing at Truworths in Trade Route Mall. The 22nd February was my birthday and I just wanted something special to wear. The R2700.00 that I had paid Truworths on Monday, the 18th February 2013, had still not cleared on my Truworths account. I had forgotten that it takes about two weeks for the credit to reflect on the account??? The awesome lady that I met at the counter had appalling manners and treated me so disrespectfully. "I'm sorry your account hasnt cleared. Would you like me to phone the head office?? " After a few minutes she telle me there the funds havent cleared, but with a freaking grin on her face!!! I left the clothing and was much embarassed after she and her colleagues were grinning at me. Nice one Truworths. You have fantastic staff. I went back to the store after half an hour and bought the 3 clothing items that came to R1300.00 with my cheque account. It was the last R1300.00 I will ever spend at the Truworths Group. I asked Thabi for a scissors, cut my card up and wont ever have to deal with people or this Franchise ever again!!!
