I bought a Samsung Galaxy Pocket from Edgars on the 8th Feb. I was told to charge it for 16hours. So that meant i would only be able to use it the following day! On the 14th my phone wouldn't ring, it sent my calls directly to my inbox. On the 15th my phone kept switching itself off and freezing. I was having to recharge my battery everyday too because it would be flat. I went to Vodacom and was told that if it was within the 7day period i could claim for out of box failure but i had to go to Edgars. The lady at Edgars asked how long i had charged my battery, i said 13hours, my husband said longer, i couldn't remember! Then she said that if i didn't recharge it for 16hours continuously that would cause my phone to have problems. I had to go home to get the paper for the phone and another lady helped me, and she filled in a form and said she'd send it in for repairs if i didn't mind, so i said she could go ahead. I bought the phone on the 7th and could only use it on 8th... from then until the 15th is that not 7 days or am i not understanding how it works? Why couldn't they just exchange my phone? I emailed Edgars have still not received an answer!
