I took my satin black and white dress to Pressed in time, Brackenhurst Johannesburg. I requested dry cleaning to wear the dress to a wedding this Friday. I have worn this dress once only, the condition was immaculate. Firstly, the owner arrived at 08:25 as I was about to leave, not at 08:00 as posted on the store front. I picked up my dress this afternoon and instantly noticed the discolouration of my dress. It is not in the same condition as I left it there in. The white top part of my dress is completely off white. It looks disgusting and is completely spoiled. It looks as if it was used to wipe off the floor! I am extremely outraged! To add insult to injury, the service received was pathetic! I am disgusted that Marietjie showed no interest in trying to rectify the obvious problem. She went on to say it looks the same to her and blamed the chemicals. I expected quality service, a clean dress and professionalism! Marietjie was more than happy to take my payment, but completely unconcerned with sorting out my concern. I cannot wear my dress again! I will never support this store again and believe word-of-mouth is very effective. I will discourage any further business with her!
