I bought a stunning blue/white/black striped dress at Yde Centurion on the 22nd of Nov 2012. I wore the dress twice before I washed it. The dress had no wash label so I asked my maid to wash by hand. Since washing the dress is unwearable. The whole dress is now fluffy and the stripes faded. I took the dress to Yde Menlyn and the were prepared to refund but I did not have the slip. They advised me to return it to Centurion where I bought it. At the Centurion branch the store manager was not very fothcoming. She told me it does not work like that. The item must first be sent the dress to Cape Town for evaluation. This might take up to 2 weeks and she doubts whether they will aprove a refund. I really think this is bad customer service. They had more of these dresses in store and I compared the dresses and it was evident that the material does not wash well. I am very disappointed in YDE.
