I ordered a wedding dress from Great Weddings in Melville. The shop assistant took my measurements and promised me that my dress will be available in 4 to 6 weeks. The dress was paid for in full. After 6 weeks I phoned Great Weddings to find out if my dress was ready and that is when all the excuses started. After 8 weeks I actually went to the shop. More excuses! They don't have the colour material ect. So I took a similar dress in white that was available in the shop. I tried the dress on at home only to find that the whole dress was skew. I phoned Liesl Gottert and she requested that I put in writing what was wrong. I am still waiting for her to respond to that mail. I initially requested to exchange the dress and after thinking it through I decided I would rather prefer a refund as there was no other dress that I liked and I do not want to do business with a company that does not care about delivering my dress timeously. I was told that under no circumstances will a refund be given. Liesl also accused me of ruining the dress, which is a blatant lie! This lady and her employees have NO work ethic what so ever and does not have their customers best interest at heart.
