I ordered some flowers and goodies for my fiancee for valentines day on the online shop, wanting it to be delivered as well (and happy to pay for delivery).
I processed the transaction and it all seemed great, even though their online store website.
This morning I get a mail asking me to confirm my details, more than 15 hours after I placed my order.
I had to FAX the front and back of my card, proof of my financial institution and account number, the contact numbers of the financial institution, a copy of my ID, etc etc.
I'm surprised they didnt ask for my birth certificate and matric results as well.
Firstly the security risk: if anyone dodgy happened to intercept that data, I might as well already hold a farewell party for my identity and the money that miraculously disappeared from my account.
Security concerns aside, why would they make someone have to work so hard to get a simple delivery???
There are MANY other companies I buy from online all the time, with delivery, and they are nowhere near as difficult to order with.
I really love Woolworths, but wow, this is pretty pathetic.
