My complain ref. no. 1-36012593891793, number in question is 0798524345. I took my device for repairs at Jabulani Vodacom branch on 15th December 2022. On the 29th of December 2022 when went to the branch for collection of my device, I was told the device cannot be repaired I had to get a new device from the insurance. On the 30th of December 2022 I went to Trade Route Mall as advised by the repair's lady from Jabulani branch that I can go to any nearby Vodacom store for claiming the insured device. The branch at Trade Route mall failed to assist me since they had never had my case, on the 2nd of January 2023 I went to Jabulani mall for my new insured device, then the sales lady confirms that the insurance pays only R850, and they do not have devices for R850. the only option she can be able to help me is by upgrade for a new device. On the 4th of January 2023 I realize that my claim and request was not done professionally then contacted call Centre insurance department. They advised me to pay R350. in my account they will escalate the amount. On the 6th January 2023 I went back to the branch the amount was escalated to R2600. the sales rep punches the computer then the information was not correlating with the SMS in my device, he then advises me to call the insurance call centre of which we never get hold of the admins from call centre, then comes the following day at the branch. In short I had run this marathon of Vodacom with no solutions, instead the more I communicate with Vodacom additional moneys are charged to my account, I negotiated my case with the previous manager at the branch by the name of Richard it was as if things are coming to a solution but not as I was now encage with the new manager who promised to revised the whole problem and put me in my main contract when comes to Vodacom for repairs, that was on the 11th of March 2023. On the 17th of February 2023 I left the Xiaomi Redmi 11 for cancellation of upgrade which I never went to the store for that upgrade initially. I had also left my old Hawaii Y5 device on the 6th of January 2023. All most 5 months running up and down wasting my resources for empty promises and delaying tactics.
