I have a life policy with impairment cover which I have been paying for the past 7 years, I have now been medically boarded off work due to loss of vision (RP). I have taken this policy in good faith that in the event of my death or disability, my family or myself would been sufficiently covered due to unforseen circumstances.
Now that I have submitted my claim through, I have now been advised by my broker that I do not meet the criteria,
What exactly does that mean. If I only new that I would be so mislead, I would have taken my policy through another insurance company which is more transparent. I feel so mislead.
This policy was supposed to be covering my assets, now how will I be able to meet my expenses now that I am disabled. (what does catch all benefit mean)
