In the beginning of November 2012, our stove's element blew. We called Hirsch's Strubensvalley who sent a repairman to assess the damage after having to pay R400 for the privilege (and received no receipt for cash provided). He ordered the required parts and we received an invoice from Hirsch's on 09 November which we paid in full. He arrived to fit the parts a week or so later, but told me that they had only supplied him with 1 element instead of the 2 that we had payed for upfront. Despite not resolving the repair, we were also still charged for R707 for labour. I have subsequently called the store on numerous occasions, as well as the Durban office and spoken to managers - all who promise to come back to me but never do. Its now 3 months since I paid and am still waiting. Does anyone at Hirsch's care? Anyone?
