In Nov 2011, I purchased these Guess sunglasses from Sunglass Hut in Table View, Cape Town, South Africa (Edgars). They were hardly worn, and were permanently stored in the case I received with the glasses. These were never DROPPED or MISHANDLED.In December 2012 when I put them on, I suddenly felt and heard a 'pop' sound. The frame of the sunglasses split near the bridge of the nose, and then lens nearly fell out. I phoned the store where I bought these, only to be told that the guarantee was up (after 12 months). This happened in the 13th month. They were not prepared to replace these, and were not very helpful. I decided that I could try to 'rescue' the sunglasses, and I took glue and fixed the frame where they cracked. This was after all my only option, considering I paid a fortune for something that lasted just over a year... and Guess was not prepared to come to the party. Again, I hardly ever wore these! On 1 Feb 2014, I was talking to a customer, and another 'pop' sound was heard. The frame cracked on the other side above my eye. Surely this is not the type of product you want to sell? It is clearly a defective frame! I want this replaced please.
