Broken Sunglasses

I was given a pair of guess sun glasses. I was shocked that after a couple of months wearing the glasses the lens cracked right in the middle on top wear the little are tightened to the frame. Being Guess, that should last, my husband, who gave me this as a gift disposed of the purchase slip, and so I could not return the glasses to the Sun Glass Hut where they were bought, and they insist on the purchase slip. Surely there should be a guarantee on the glasses

This is absolutely shocking and I would tell anyone that wants to buy Guess sun glasses, to reconsider and purchase another brand.
