Sunday 27 January 2012 I was browsing around in Ottery Hyper when I saw that they were having an "Up to 50%" sale. There was a clearly demarkated area where the sale goods were being displayed. I noticed that some of the price tags were marked with a green dot sticker and others were not. When enquiring of the staff what the sticker meant, nobody seemed to know. I took a few items which were marked with this mysterious green dot. When I got to the till, the items were not marked down at all or if they were, it was a R2 off at most. For example, Mitchum Gel roll on was marked down to R43.95 when the normal price is around R44. What's the point? But besides that, the cashier had absolutely no idea that there was a sale taking place in the store. Please make sure your staff are better informed of the events taking place in store.
