UNETHICAL MARKETING STRATEGY ON 25% OFF SALE

I had a very unpleasant experience when purchasing items on sale - already marked off with extra 25% - when reaching the point of sale and the additional amount discounted was denied. Queried with cashier as well as store manager, both of whick kept on providing excuses with a bad attitude, instead of addressing the concern. also referred the complaint to head office - Muchael Payne, with the same result. The extra 25% sale strategy definately needs to be changed, as currently items are marked as discounted two days in advance, and when getting to point of sale you are told that the discount will only be valid two days later - very misleading and unethical. Only then you are refered to the small print on the price tag, as well as dates advertised somewhere in the store. Explained my concern to head-office (Michael Payne) and according to him the strategy is in place for 10 years already and nothing wrong with the current trategy.
