Planned Obsolescence and NO Service and parts

In the first week of January I went to Verimark Centurion Mall to enquire/purchase some spares for my Genesis Turbo Vac. My number was taken and it was said they would call me back regarding the spares. No one has YET called me. I phoned "customer services" and enquired about spares.

What i need are BRUSHES for the motor. I am told you cannot buy brushes and you need to buy the WHOLE motor? So if your car needs a spark plug you replace the engine? My machine is about 19 months old and the brushes are gone already?? Is this planned that way? I have a 7 year old electrolux that STILL works 100%. It would tell me that either the plan is to keep the customer coming back to replace engines every 12-24 months OR it is actually not all that great!

ALL i want ARE BRUSHES!!! The motor runs but is intermittent due to that.

I would suggest that people STOP BUYING Genesis products as they are TOO costly on replacement parts. In fact what you pay for them you would expect to be trouble free for a LONG time!

Stay away from these products. I will measure and import the brushes and THEN start reselling them to other fools like me who wasted the money on this product.
