In Nov 2013 getting a repeat script the amount scanned was double what I expected. I queried it and was told that a script filled in Oct had not been paid for. My question was how can one leave without paying for meds as they have security measures, the pharmacist tole me the ladies at the till sometimes don't scan the scripts correctly. If this is the case, surely it's their problem not mine. Eitherway I was told I must provide proof that I had paid, but they let me have the Nov meds. Upon a later query I was told there was a system problem and they will resolve it, but then in January I had the same problem. This time the pharmacist was insisting that I pay the amount outstanding. We settled for me checking bankstatements to prove amount paid by card as I didn't have the slip. I got proof of card payment on the day, called accounts department where nice lady helped me. After many attempts and calls they finally found the payment on their side and problem is now resolved. What does upset me is the way they handled it, guilty until proven innocent while they try to sort out their bookkeeping.
