Medipost Pharmacy
No Chronic Meds

Email new repeat script. Got a call that I must go back to the Dr and get a new script as its not dated. As I always send the original script to GEMS/Medipost I do not see any problem. The lady said that they cant send my Meds to my. Two or three days later a gentleman called and asked when my meds should be send to me. Got an SMS saying they received my fax and that it would get there urgent attention. No Meds. So on the 3rd of January 2013 I called Medipost and asked that my Meds must be send to me. No Meds. On the 14th of January I've called again and asked that my Meds should be send as most of my Chronic Meds are finished. The lady said I would receive the Meds within 48 hours. Got an SMS saying they received my fax and that it would get there urgent attention. Its now the 16th of January 2013, 58 hours later and still no meds.

Wanted to get my Meds from my local pharmacy but there's a co-payment of R314-00.

What if I get a stroke or seizure? Who's going to care for me?

Every year theres mayor problems this time of year (third year in a row). As soon as we can get our Meds from our local Pharmacy as per GEMS new rules, bye Medipost!
