Comaplaint on repair service no:12572

I bought a Toshiba TV in the Pick and Pay Hypermarket in Brackenfell along side groceries and was a given a small white receipt. Six month down the line, I had an issue with the TV and took it back for repairs. The problem was that I had lost the white receipt. I thought Pick 'n Pay is a reputable organization which keep track of all its sales it makes everyday. The manger told me he will try to look for the purchase details in their system and after futile attempts to follow this up, I was told that TV could not be repaired. On month has passed now.

As I am writing this I, am going to fetch my defective TV from the same Pick 'n Pay that i purchased it. Pick 'n Pay knows very well how to keep record of smart Shopper points, and when i bought my Tv I swiped that card before the purchase was made and yet Pick and Pay Brackenfell is adamant they don't have any record of my purchase. Is this a Pick 'n Pay policy or it is the ignorant staff i am dealing with?

Please pick and Pay when one buys an electronic equipment from your stores please give us a proper big receipt like the same blue one you give people for repairs. That one cant be lost easily. I am horrified by this treatment.
