Due to repairs being done to my vehicle, my insurer, Discovery, provided me with a rental car from AVIS. Upon collecting the vehicle, I paid a cash deposit of R2500.00. On 21 August 2023, I returned the vehicle and since then, I have been struggling to have my deposit refunded to me. I have sent several emails to AVIS on 24.08.2023, 28.08.2023, 30.08.2023, and 04.09.2023. They have only responded stating that the refund process takes 3 - 5 days. The reservation is 21304213ZA0 [Case: pouLbu, Reference: GG2R9c]. It is unacceptable that 14 working days after returning the vehicle, the cash deposit has still not been processed and refunded.
