My sis in law purchased my kids clothes for Xmas gifts in Dec'13. I went to the store on the 02 Jan to exchange the gifts as the items purchased was the incorrect sizes. The store it was extremely busy as they were having a sale. After not finding their sizes I thought best to go to the Returns get a refund and come back when it was not so busy. BAD idea! We were waiting with children in a queue for over an hour. Eventually got to the till the counter staff said I cannot get a refund (Even with the tags attached & items being unused) but a credit. I was in such a exhausted state I agreed to a gift card with the credit loaded. I didn't check my slip immed. I was so fed up of being that shop for so long. Going through my slips later on I noticed that Edgar's had in fact ROBBED me! Items were purchased at the orig. price however credited at 50 % of the value paid. I went back and asked a staff member why was I credit at 50% she said the items was on sale. Absolute bulldust as I had been to the shelves prior to the credit and those items or similar were not on the shelves as they were Branded items. How can you give someone 50% when they have pd 100%? Daylight!
