IN DECEMBER I PURCHASED SCHOOL SHOES FOR CASH, IT FITTED WELL AND THERE WAS NO ISSUES, SO I THREW THE SLIP. THE DAY BEFORE SCHOOL MY 8 YEAR OLD TRIED THEM ON AGAIN AND THE BUCKLE BROKE. I TOOK THEM IN TO WOOLWORTHS EXPECTING A QUICK REPLACEMENT. THE TILL OPERATOR AT WOODMEAD FIRST AGREED THEY COULD BE REPLACED, THEN CAME BACK AND ADVISED THESE SHOES WERE LAST SOLD IN 2011, HE WENT ON TO SAY THEY HAVE NO STOCK, HAVE NOT HAD STOCK SINCE 2011 BUT IF I HAD MY TILL SLIP HE WOULD REPLACE THEM. THAT DID NOT MAKE SENSE. HE THEN AGREED THE SHOES WERE NEW AND NOT WORN. HE WENT FROM PERSON TO PERSON ON THE FLOOR, I WAS MADE TO FEEL LIKE I WAS . THE MORAL OF THE STORY, I BOUGHT SHOES TWO YEARS AGO, KEPT THEM LOOKING BRAND NEW AND KNOWING ON THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL MY DAUGHTER WOULD FIT INTO A SIZE 12, BUT THEN AGAIN R200 MUST MEAN MORE TO WOOLIES THAN A 8 YEAR OLD HAVING NEW SHOES ON THE FIRST DAY. JUST THOUGHT THE ATTITUDE AND TREATMENT OF THE OPERATOR AND THE TEXTILE MANAGER WAS DISGUSTING AND FROM THE AMOUNT OF PEOPLE HAVING A SHOUT AT WOODMEAD I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE. I DID NOT WANT FREE GOODS, ALL I WANTED WAS A SHOE MY LITTLE ONE CAN WEAR.
