I bought a pair of froggie school shoes at froggie in January 2012. my 5 yeAR OLD ONLY STARTED WEARING THE SHOES IN aPRIL 2012 DUE to heat in Durban.By October 2012, the shoes had a big hole in the front. I paid almost R300 for this pair of shoes that did not last even 8 months at most. In October 2012 i went to Froggie in hillcrest to complain about the shoes. the saleslady told me their factory will close end of October for festive until they open mid Feb 2013. She advised me not to send the shoes rather keep them untill early this year. Late Jan, i went back to Froggie to return the shoes to be sent to their factory. Fortunately the saleslady was still there and she could recognise me and the damaged shoe. In a weeks time the shoe was returneed and was told it can not be replaced because it has been over a year and the shoe was well worn out, which was not true at all. I requested the manager to contact me, which she did. She gave me same excuse of being more than a year, i then told her why it was not sent last year. when i said that, she then gave me another excuse that a child's shoe should be changed every six months. which parent can afford R600 each year?
