Taking too long to repair a new phone

I bought a phone on the 18th of December at pep stores within seven days it had a fault and I took it back for exchange but they told me after 7 days they have to take it on repair as their policy states, so they took it and promise to bring it back within 2 weeks period, but now a month has pass by the phone is not back, what an inconvinience I am now sitting without a phone yet I thought I bought one
