I bought a couch from mr price home in november 2013, and which i waited two weeks for and had to get someone to pick it up for me because they wanted to charge me R350 just to deliver it to my home which is 3 blocks away! I have the couch for a month and it breaks, only to be told by the staff of the store that many customers have brought it back and must be a manufacturing fault. Two weeks go by and i hear nothing, i went to the store and they told me i can have it refunded. They wanted to refund my account which had a zero balance n refused to give me the cash! I did not need more credit, i wanted my money back! I argued with the accounts department and eventually they told me to bring the couch back and i would get the money in my account in 4 days! Once again i had to take money out of my pocket to get someone to deliver the defective couch back to the store! And now i have to wait tell next week for my money! Poor service from the head office as well as the accounts department!
