I reported a freezer on 11 December and again on 30 December 2013. The technician came out in December and tested the electronic circuit board and confirmed it gave an unknown error code.
In their last automated SMS from the service department they promised a response within 8 hours. Now, two days later no response at all.
I tried to phone the service department to speak to the manager but after holding on for 15 minutes, I gave up.
I expect some response fro whirlpool, either to fix the freezer or the tell me to sell it as scrap metal.
