Saturday morning 11 January 2014 I went into Festival Mall Edgars to purchase some items of clothing. After standing in an extremely long queue waiting to pay, I get told by the cashier on duty (on the top of her voice) that my account has been blocked, probably due to non payment.
Now my account is always paid up to date, have never missed a month. I then get told very abruptly that I am holding up the queue and if I want to sort out my account I need to go to customer services, which I do.
At customer services I get told that the reason my account is blocked is due to FICA, and that I need to bring in the relevant documents that are required, and that is should've FICA'd my account long ago as this is now way overdue.
The fact of the matter is this... I FICA'd my account 3 years ago in Edgars Shelly Beach, then again in 2013 In CNA Pinetown. Now I get told that I have never FICA'd my account and it's long overdue.
I do not have time to do this a 3RD time!!!

Either get your systems updated, where it will show that I have done this twice before, or employ people who actually know what they are doing!!!
Also, send your cashiers on customer service training!!!
