Not pleased with, customer service

I had recently accompanied my elder brother and his partner who is the account holder to rectify an issue with regards to an exchange. She had bought a pair of shoes for a relative and then discovered they were the wrong shoe size, the relative then went to the store with receipt ready to make an exchange only to be told that the card holder needs to be present, we then went to the store and asked for the supervisor who then shook her head not knowing that we saw her and kept us waiting, long story short we were approached by the manager Peter Sengwane, we explained why we were there and he the said it was a Edcon store policy that the card holder should be present because of the computer system, I asked if I went to the Edcon website and search for such a policy will it be there, he said yes and I went on and said this is the only Edcon store where I had come across such a policy because I return and exchange clothes without my dad being present as he is a card holder as well, he went on and said the store is different and kept on expressing how it was his store and addressing us in a condescending manner, holding such a rank one would think he knew how to properly address clients
