We went to Pick n Pay Woodmead on 1 Jan. Walking through the isles we came across an open box of rat poison lying on the shelve. We were shocked as this is a big safety hazard for children. Any child coming across this would think it looks like pink rice krispies and can easily put it in their mouth. Luckily my child was in a trolley and not walking around. Check your shelves for dangers like these!
Second complaint is the unfriendly non-existing customer service from the ladies at the tills. On numerous occasions we have been greeted by a very unfriendly face, the staff member having an attitude like she is doing the customer a favor by being there and talking in a rude manner when asked something. Send your staff on training to learn what customer service is. Without the customers they won't have jobs!
With a huge store like this, there is always more tills closed than open, especially during peak times. Staff and managers standing around chatting instead of opening more tills to accommodate all the customers faster.
We would much rather support Spar Sunninghill even if they are a bit more expensive with some items. Pull your socks up Pick n Pay!
