POOR SERVICE AND QUALITY OF WORK

05 December 2013 - purchased gold bracelet and gold charm at Browns in Canal Walk. Salesman were very helpful and polite and assisted in selecting an appropriate item

06 December 2013 - took bracelet back to Browns to get resized as it was slightly too big for the receipients wrist. Salesman indicated that the resize would take 2 weeks.

23 December 2013 - collected bracelet from Browns and paid R250 for the resize. The same day, one of the links which had been soldered broke and the bracelet fell apart.

24 December 2013 - contact Browns to complain. Was asked to bring in the bracelet to be repaired once more, at no charge. Delivered the bracelet to Browns the next day and was advised that the bracelet would be ready on Friday the 27th and that they would call to confirm as such

27 December 2013 - No call received

29 December - Called the Branch manager to complain about the poor service and lack of confirmation. He apologises and advises the bracelet will be ready on 02 January 2014.
02 January 2014 - Collected Bracelet from Browns. The same link breaks later that evening and the bracelet falls apart
