Charging insurance on cell phone and not replacing
My domestic bought a cell phone on her Edgars account and took insurance out. The phone was giving her problems and she took it back, they told her that the phone will go in for repairs and they will give her a phone to use in the mean time, this phone was not sealed or in a box and she never got any feedback regarding her original phone, She got robbed and they took the phone she was using at the time, she went back to Edgars with case number explained what happened and they refused to help her as they were looking for EMEI number, the problem is she does not have EMEI number of the phone as this phone was not in a box or sealed. Meanwhile she is still paying insurance for the phone that went in for repairs. This is totally unacceptable, she is a paying customer and her Edgars account is up to date, she is paying insurance for a phone she does not have and Edgars is not compensating her at all. I will take this to social media if I have to as this is unacceptable, why should you be paying for something you do not have and it is not your fault- people that can afford it, so happy to know that consumers have rights.
