Car MP3 player not working

I bought a Jebson MP3 player for my car on the 7th of December 2013, i opened it box on the 21 of December 2013 to install the device. When the installer tried to put the power on of the it did not work.

I took it back on the 23 December 2013 to return the goods and i was told that i could not return it because of r their 7 day no return policy. However the product was not tested and Candice signed on the slip that the product was tested. That was a part of their policy that they overlooked.

I then confronted one of the guys who worked in the shop and called Candice to confirm that she tested the device. She said that she did not test the device.

What happened to the policy in this case as stated on the slip the device needs to be tested before the customer leaves the store.

I will never buy from this store again as they just ruined my Christmas with their lack of service and passing the buck.

If this matter is not resolved i will be taking this to the Consumer Act and the Ombudsman.
