Refusal of Service - Manager Hides

20 Dec 13 - I entered this outlet with full intent on purchasing a Go-Pro, however found various customers waiting all over in various areas of the shop to get assistance.

After waiting for about 30 minutes and chatting to another gentleman whom also wanted to purchase a Go-pro, I decided to ask the to ladies at the till for assistance as there was no queue and they were sitting chatting. Upon my request, one looked up, called a name into the shop, turned her head away and continued her discussion.

A male assistant tried to help but there was too many people at this point so I requested to speak to the manager, he walked to the back, called her, and started helping someone in the back of the shop shying away from the customer he was busy with. She walked to the front, chatted to the 2 ladies at the till, looked at the bunch of customers standing with me awaiting her assistance, and then disappeared into the office.

After another 30 minutes I went to the office, confronted her, and her reply was she was busy with stock take. I told her that I would report this to HQ and on Hello Peter So Here goes. We proceeded to supported Cape Union Mart with far superior service.
